AI automation, with no small print

20 straight answers about prices, timelines, the guarantee and which companies get the most out of this. If one is missing, write to us and we will add it.

    The Scale 14 diagnostic

What it is, how a project starts and what you take away at the end.

Scale 14 is a 14-day process diagnostic in which we audit four areas of your company. Sales, Marketing, Delivery and Administration. It includes interviews with your team, a review of the tools you already use and an analysis of your real workflows. At the end we hand over a visual BPMN map of your bottlenecks, an AI optimisation matrix that says what to automate first and why, an operational and cybersecurity risk analysis, and a step-by-step scaling roadmap with return estimates. It carries a full guarantee. If, when we hand you the roadmap, we cannot demonstrate mathematically that there are real leaks of money or time, you get 100% back on that same call. The risk is ours, not yours.

You start by measuring, not by buying tools. The most common mistake in a small business is hiring a chatbot or a subscription before knowing where the real leak is, and ending up with one more tool nobody uses. At Jalu AI the starting point is always the diagnostic. Fourteen days reviewing the four operational areas, and only then deciding what to automate first. That order matters because most bottlenecks are not where the owner thinks they are. If you want a reference point before committing to anything, the first 15-minute call is free and you leave it knowing whether the diagnostic makes sense in your case.

Nothing happens. The roadmap is yours. Scale 14 and the implementation are two independent services, contracted separately. When the diagnostic ends you receive the complete plan, the process map, the optimisation matrix and the prioritisation, and you decide freely whether to execute it with us, with your own team or with another provider. There is no lock-in clause, no discount conditioned on continuing, and no information we hold back to force you to return. We sell the diagnostic separately precisely because we believe the plan is worth having on its own.

    Prices and investment

What it costs, what each price includes and how the guarantee works.

At Jalu AI the Scale 14 diagnostic costs $500 USD, a fixed and published price. The implementation that follows starts at $700 USD and is quoted according to what we find in the diagnostic, always with scope, schedule and estimated return in writing before you commit. Maintenance runs from $50 to $200 USD a month depending on how many flows need monitoring, and the first 30 days after implementation are free. One warning sign when comparing providers. If somebody quotes you an automation before having looked at your operation, they are selling a tool, not a solution. The real price depends on how many processes it touches and how many systems it has to talk to.

There are three prices and all of them are public. The Scale 14 diagnostic is a fixed $500 USD, with 14 days of analysis, a BPMN map, an AI optimisation matrix, a cybersecurity analysis, a roadmap and a full money-back guarantee. Implementation, meaning chatbots, automations and integrations, starts at $700 USD depending on scope. Maintenance is free for the first 30 days and then runs between $50 and $200 USD a month depending on how many flows and systems are monitored. All prices are in US dollars. Before committing you can book a free 15-minute call and receive a proposal with scope, investment and estimated return.

If, when we hand you the roadmap, we cannot demonstrate mathematically that there are real leaks of money or time in your operation, you get 100% of the diagnostic back on that same delivery call. There is no form, no waiting period and no administrative deduction. The guarantee exists because the value of Scale 14 lies in finding something concrete. If we finish the 14 days and your operation turns out to be cleaner than you thought, there is no sense in you paying to confirm it. In practice this also filters us. We do not take on diagnostics where we know in advance that there is nothing to find.

    Is it for my company?

Who this kind of work pays off for, and who it does not yet.

The group we help most are small businesses around $10,000 USD a month in revenue, with five or more employees and at least a year of operation. The reason is not size in itself. With five or more people there are already handoffs between areas, from sales to invoicing, from support to dispatch, and it is exactly in those handoffs that the leak a system can close lives. You also need someone to delegate to once the system frees up the hours, or the recovered time does not turn into growth. If your company is smaller, the diagnostic still helps, but the honest thing to say is that what you probably need first is to organise, not to automate.

Three, and they are measurable. First, response time. A customer who writes on WhatsApp gets an answer in around 60 seconds at any hour, instead of waiting for somebody to pick up the phone. Second, hours recovered. Around 20 hours a week that today go into repetitive tasks, copying data between systems and building reports by hand. Third, continuity. The operation stops halting when the owner is away. The benefit that appears on no list but matters most is that you stop being the bottleneck of your own business. That is what makes it possible to grow without hiring in the same proportion.

It is measured by comparing what the system costs against what the manual process cost, and both numbers come out of the diagnostic. During Scale 14 we quantify three things. Staff hours spent on repetitive tasks, revenue lost to late replies or missing follow-up, and the cost of operational errors such as mis-recorded orders or late invoices. That is the baseline everything is compared against afterwards. This is why the roadmap includes savings estimates for each proposed automation rather than one global promise. It lets you decide which ones to do and which are not worth it in your case. The systems we deliver include a dashboard where you can see the hours recovered over time.

    What can be automated

    Concrete processes, integrations and tools.

We automate repetitive processes across four areas. In customer service, automatic replies on WhatsApp and Instagram, lead qualification, sending quotes and post-sale follow-up. In sales and administration, CRM updates, report generation, integration with ERPs and spreadsheets, and approval flows. In invoicing, issuing invoices, payment follow-up and notifications. In marketing, publishing content, tracking metrics and lead nurturing. We only work on automations where we have real experience and demonstrated results. If your case falls outside that scope, we tell you on the first call instead of learning at your expense.

Yes, and that is usually the part that delivers the most value. The automations are built on n8n, which connects to practically any service with an API. ERPs, CRMs, e-commerce platforms, spreadsheets, payment gateways and databases. The rule we follow is not to replace what already works. If your team uses a tool and knows it, we connect it rather than migrating you to something else. When a system has no API we look for the workable route, whether that is scheduled exports, email or the database, and if there is none we tell you before quoting rather than discovering it halfway through the project.

We work with a stack proven in production. For workflow automation we use n8n, which connects services without writing code. For customer service and chatbots, Chatwoot together with the WhatsApp Business API and Meta's API for Instagram. For WhatsApp messaging and campaigns, Ycloud. We integrate the main AI models on the market, from OpenAI, Anthropic and Google, according to what the project needs. Every system is deployed on a server exclusive to the client, with no shared dependencies. The specific choice always comes out of the diagnostic and out of what fits your current operation best, not out of a preference of ours.

    Timelines and coverage

How long it takes, how much of your time it needs and where we work from.

It depends on scope. The Scale 14 diagnostic has a fixed duration of 14 days. For simple implementations, such as a customer service chatbot or the automation of a single process, the average is 2 to 4 weeks. For projects with several integrations, chained flows or a dedicated server, 4 to 8 weeks is typical. In every case we hand over a proposal with a detailed schedule before starting, so you know what to expect and when. The clock starts once we have the necessary access. The most frequent delay in a project is not technical, it is waiting for credentials.

Less than most people expect. During the diagnostic we ask for between 3 and 5 hours spread across 14 days. An initial context call, short interviews with whoever is responsible for each area, and read access to the tools you already use. During implementation your team's time drops further still. We mostly need you to confirm that a flow does what it should before it goes live. The closing includes a training session of 1 to 2 hours with whoever will operate the system. We designed the process this way on purpose. If we took twenty hours off you, we would be creating the very problem we came to solve.

Jalu AI serves mainly Ecuador and Latin America, including Colombia, Peru, Mexico, Argentina, Chile and the rest of the region. In Ecuador we work with companies in Quito, Guayaquil, Cuenca and the rest of the country, and today we have clients in Ecuador and in Chile, one of them a returning client. We operate 100% remotely, so location is not an obstacle. Everything is coordinated over video calls and shared project tools. The main working language is Spanish, and we also work in English and German depending on the project. The founder, Julián Pinto, is Ecuadorian and knows the operational reality of the region's small businesses first hand.

    After delivery

Training, support, failures and how dependent you end up.

No. Every system is delivered with a written operations manual, so anyone on your team can use it without depending on us. On top of that, at the end of each implementation we run a training session with the person or the area responsible. The aim is for your team to understand what each flow does, how to monitor it and what to do in basic situations. You do not need to know how to program or understand the technology from the inside. You need to know how to use the tools you already use every day. If something in the system needs changing later, that part we handle.

The first 30 days after implementation include free maintenance, and during that period we fix any incident at no cost. From day 31 there are monthly plans from $50 to $200 USD depending on the complexity of the system. In every case the monitoring is proactive. If a flow fails, we get an automatic notification and act before you notice. You do not depend on spotting it and reporting it. Every system is delivered with a dedicated server, daily automatic backups and secure access credentials, so that one isolated failure does not compromise the whole operation.

No, and it is designed so that you do not. The system runs on a server that is yours, with your credentials and your data. The operations documentation is handed over in writing, and the training aims for your team to understand the logic of each flow, not just which button to press. The maintenance plan is optional and monthly, with no lock-in. You take it because proactive monitoring is worth having, not because the system stops working without us. If one day you decide to move everything to another provider or to your own team, it moves whole. We build with standard market tools precisely so that this is possible.

    Data, security and risk

Who owns the data, where it lives and what the risk analysis covers.

The data is yours. Every client gets a dedicated server, with no databases shared with other clients, and the access is registered in your name. We work with the credentials you authorise and only for as long as the project or the contracted maintenance plan lasts. The systems include daily automatic backups. If you decide to end the relationship, the data and the flows stay where they are. There is no platform of ours to export them from and no proprietary format holding them hostage. That architectural decision makes the implementation slightly more expensive, and we take it on purpose.

We review the operational exposure that almost no small business has mapped. Who has access to which system and whether that access is still active after someone leaves the company, whether credentials are shared between people, whether backups exist and whether restoring them was ever tested, and what happens to the operation if the system where the information lives becomes unavailable. We also point out where sensitive customer data is being handled without controls. We are clear about the scope. We do an operational risk analysis, not legal advice and not a regulatory compliance audit. When something needs a lawyer, we say so and recommend you consult one.
